Our scope of services includes: • Creating engineering drawings • Handling and processing of glass tubes, glass stirrers and pre- processed parts, connecting the parts to apparatus and devices. • Processing of produced apparatus, e.g. by means of grinding, silvering, etching, radiating, setting up scales and labels, volume determination, quality control, voltage tests • Rack construction • Repair of defective glass apparatus and devices Material glass As the glass type which is used most frequently, Borosilicate glass 3.3 or Duran® 8330 is an essential part of laboratory and chemical systems engineering. It forms the basis for finding customised solutions for specific problems of our customers. Products made of borosilicate 3.3 are known for their stability, their great processability and for their extensive insensitiveness against quick changes in temperature. They are corrosion-resistant and act absolutely neutral in almost all chemical fields, even with aggressive chemicals. This characteristics distinguishes them from other materials. For special tasks, other glass types such as soft glass and quartz glass are processes.
