This new screw cap is made of a material of highest chemical resistance (TpCh260). In order to prevent the medium from being contaminated in any form, the cap does not contain any colorants or plastic pigments. The pressed-in silicon seal is coated with PTFE on both sides for highest demands on chemical resistance. The matching pouring ring is made from the same material and guarantees non-dripping and safe handling. The Premium Cap is characterized by its temperature resistance ranging from -196°C to +260°C. DURAN PURE Premium Screw Cap with Lip Seal GL 45, DURAN Group / IDL Thanks to the highly resistant material (PFA), the DURAN PURE Premium screw cap with lip seal GL 45 is perfectly suited for chemically and thermally demanding processes. Due to the very high temperature resistance, it is ideal for difficult sterilisation processes such as hot air or dry heat sterilisation and depyrogenisation at 260°C. The material used complies with the FDA requirements (FDA 21 CFR Section 177.1550) and the USP (USP Class VI plastics -121°C). This means that this screw cap is particularly well suited for applications in the pharmaceutical, chemical, and food industry. The Der DURAN PURE Premium screw cap made of PFA is equipped with a cone, i.e. an integrated lip seal, and accordingly does not need any additional seal to keep the bottle tightly closed. Furthermore, this feature makes the cap easy to clean and to sterilise.
