A program set consisting of 5 ramps is put into operation by pressing the START button. Three parameters are necessary to set a ramp: ramp time, constant temperature and constant time. A programmable lead-tim allows the ramp program to be activated up to 99 hours in advance. Three separate programs (temperature profiles) can be stored. The digital display constantly indicates the actual temperature and the time remaining before program completion. At the rear of the unit is an earthing-pin socket for connecting the heater, a positioning prop and a 2-pole main switch, at the front of the unit is a socket for a contact thermometers. A temperature selection limiter prevents the operator from selecting dangerous temperatures.
