The medium comes into contact only with the glass and with PTFE; thus, the filter funnel can be used more or less universally for all chemicals that you wish to filter. The PTFE plate holder makes sure that not only slotted screen plates can be used but also glass filters of different porosities. Thanks to the porosity range of glass filters (10 µm – 160 µm), not only coarse and fine filtration but also analytical filtrations can be carried out. The DURAN® filter funnel is suitable for filtering and cleaning aqueous and organic solutions for particle contamination analysis or for production of HPLC media.
