Due to its very high chemical resistance it can be used with most polar solvents, acids and bases (e.g. acetone, butanone, DMF, and concentrated hydrochloric acid etc.). Unlike conventional quartz cuvettes, there is no cleaning and hence a far lower contamination risk. The micro UV cuvette can be used from sample volume as small as 70 µl and fits - without an adapter - in practically all commercially available photometers/spectral photometers for standard cuvettes. Two different center heights (8.5 and 15 mm) are available. Round caps provide a tight seal and allow storage of samples down to -20°C. The UV disposable cuvettes are ideal for determination of proteins, DNA and RNA. They are supplied assorted by cavity in order to minimize extinction deviations between the individual cuvettes.
